Until

We will not listen to
What the earth is saying
Until we fear its noise

Humanity builds where
It should not
All is well
Until it is reduced to
Rubble by wind and water

Clean water is
Taken for granted
Until it is too
Polluted to drink

Little thought is given
To the air around us
Until we can not breathe

Man will continue as
