Be Careful Of Wishes

Precious girls,
be careful of wishes.
Prince Charming
may own scissors
that clip wings.

Not every toad
can be changed
with a kiss or
glass slipper escape
broken glass.

Look deeper
than what
the eyes can see,
and let the spirit
speak its worth.

Absolutely perfect Truth. Girls should be taught this from tiny on up.

Oh this is so beautiful with such a powerful message!

Children are fond of fairy tales and believe almost anything that the see. Its our job to let them know the difference between truth & fiction.

Loved the poem! :D

Wise mother's advice, Susie. Two ways to learn the lesson, listen to Mom or by experience.

Ah, yes, Prince Charming is not so charming anymore when he starts clipping wings. This is brilliant :-)
