Crescendo of Sighs

Lust has dark humor.
The sigh of death
sings from sated bodies
oblivious sunlight
will deliver their shroud.

In the crescendo of sighs
time has no bonds nor remorse.
Heaven is thighs entwined,
notes playing along flesh,
a world without a key to intrude.

Secrets spoil, divide conscience
between vow and reality,
but in the liar’s womb tomorrow
will never demand its ransom.

I love this stanza:
'In the crescendo of sighs
time has no bonds nor remorse.
Heaven is thighs entwined,
notes playing along flesh,
a world without a key to intrude.'

The cello is a sexy thing. I never thought of it that way but will from now on. :)

Phew! the opening stanza is a killer and sets the tone for all that comes next. Such an innovative view of the cello.

'Thighs entwined' never had thought of imagining this. And there is no way one can likely unravel it. There's just no 'key' to do it. Lots of persuasion perhaps!
